Who needs a commercial EPC?
Commercial EPC is required by law if selling, renting, or leasing a building
(some buildings are exempt).
• There can be fines for non-compliance, imposed by Trading Standards and the building owner is responsible for these fines.
Every commercial building requires a building inspection by a qualified
assessor, such as Bath EPC. The certificate, once issued, is valid for 10 years.
